Bordering Houston, the city of Stafford has become a haven for businesses and people wishing to relocate to a smaller town. It's seven square miles contain 10 residential subdivisions and several industrial/business districts. Although the residential population (16,500) has more than doubled since 1980, the business population by far outweighs it. An estimated 60,000 people live in, work, and visit the city of Stafford each day. The Stafford Police Department with it's 63 employees, has kept pace with the growing city. We hope that by making this web site available we will be able to further increase our accessibility and service to the public.
